We welcome all students - no prior knowledge of soccer or Spanish necessary!

Our Mission

Kids have fun and learn Spanish through soccer games and activities that teach confidence and fair play. We focus on authentic Spanish language immersion, getting students familiar with a foreign language outside of the classroom. This means our coaches only speak in Spanish during class, which is a large part of why the program is so successful. Through simple Spanish instruction, students begin to learn the basics of the language and new vocabulary, all while playing a team sport where they can have fun! Students are not expected to have any prior knowledge of Spanish - and of course can and should speak English to us. This program encompasses all levels of Spanish, from zero experience to Spanish speakers. All are welcome!

our curriculum

Our program focuses on creating a fun and safe space for kids to learn a foreign language - as well as the building blocks of teamwork and respect. Through Soccer in Spanish, kids build confidence in both their Spanish-speaking and soccer abilities. Our curriculum has been designed to incorporate familiar concepts like colors, numbers, and shapes, and simple commands like “run”, “play”, and “go” to inform the instruction. Through repetition, children absorb these terms and learn how to use them in context. The key to learning a second language is to create immersive experiences that will make a lasting impression, which we achieve through songs, fun games, and memory building. Not only are our students learning a foreign language, they are exercising, learning the principles of teamwork, and learning how to win and lose gracefully - it’s all a part of the game! Our goal is for each child to leave “practice” with a smile on their face!
