coach JESUS parra

Coach Parra is the Director and Co-founder of Soccer in Spanish. He is an experienced educator and coach with a formal training in both elementary education and physical education. Coach Parra teaches Spanish at The Allen-Stevenson School in New York City and also coaches their Junior Varsity soccer team. He was born and raised in Seville, Spain and is an ardent fan of Real Betis Balompié. You will find him on the field often wearing green in support of his team.

coach kristin GINTY

Coach Ginty is the Co-founder of Soccer in Spanish. She has taught elementary and middle school students in both New York City and Spain. After graduating from Penn State University, Coach Ginty moved to Spain for four years to teach. While abroad, she focused on perfecting her Spanish language abilities, earning the DELE C2, the highest diploma granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, which signifies a native-level mastery of the language. Her dedication to Spanish is only matched by her passion for soccer. Coach Ginty has been playing for over two and half decades! She still plays in a rec league with her husband and her brother - and maintains that she is better than them both.
